Metabolic Health • Cooking Demo • Tasting

The Keto Workshop Series is a structured, beginner-friendly metabolic health program designed to provide practical, real-world guidance on nutrition and ketogenic meal preparation. This multi-session experience combines short educational lectures, live cooking demonstrations, and guided tastings to help participants understand not only what to eat, but why it works.

The program is ideal for community groups, churches, organizations, private groups and wellness-focused gatherings seeking an engaging and educational introduction to metabolic health.

Program Overview

This workshop series is delivered as a three-part experience, with each session building upon the previous one. The content is designed to be approachable for beginners while still offering valuable insights for those already familiar with ketogenic principles.

Each session includes:

  • A simple, practical look at how to eat for better health

  • A live cooking demonstration highlighting practical, flavorful ketogenic meals that can be easily recreated at home

  • Enjoying the food together straight from the demonstration

  • Open discussion and Q&A with Chef Janine

When appropriate, sessions may also include a light body-stewardship message aligned with faith-based settings.

Format & Scheduling

Workshops are typically scheduled as a series, with one session held every two weeks to allow participants time to absorb and apply what they learn between sessions.

  • Session Length: Approximately 2.5 hours

  • Suggested Start Time: Early evening (e.g., 6:00 PM)

  • Format: Lecture + Cooking Demo + Tasting + Open Q&A

  • Conclusion: Sessions are designed to conclude within a reasonable evening timeframe

Participation

To maintain an interactive and high-quality experience, group size is intentionally limited:

This allows for meaningful engagement, clear visibility during demonstrations, and an enjoyable tasting experience.

Workshop Fee

  • $33 per participant, per session

  • Group rates are available. Inquire separately

Payment is typically collected at the time of each session unless otherwise arranged.

Venue & Setup Requirements

For optimal experience, the space should be arranged to accommodate both demonstration and tasting.

  • Space for two large tables for cooking equipment and prep

Equipment used during demonstrations may include:

  • Toaster oven

  • Hot plate

  • Instant cooker

Purpose & Experience

This workshop series is designed to be more than a lecture—it is an interactive, hands-on educational experience. Participants leave with practical knowledge, simple meal ideas, and a clearer understanding of how nutrition directly impacts metabolic health.

The goal is to empower individuals to make informed food choices and confidently prepare meals that support long-term wellness.

Supporting Reading & Continued Learning

To complement each session, participants will have access to a curated series of short articles that reinforce the key concepts discussed throughout the workshop. These readings are designed to deepen understanding while keeping the approach practical and easy to apply.

Session 1 — Foundations: What to Eat & Why It Works

These foundational topics help clarify how the body uses food, what defines true ketogenic eating, and how to choose better-quality ingredients from the start.

Session 2 — Meal Rhythm & Daily Structure

Paired with: Intermittent Fasting and The Fat Guide (with continued reference to Protein Quality)

This stage focuses on how to structure meals, understand timing, and use fats effectively as a primary energy source.

Session 3 — Sustainability & Real-Life Application

These topics help participants navigate long-term success, avoid common pitfalls, and make confident choices in everyday situations.

Overview of the Metabolic Health Series

All in all, these readings provide a simple, structured path for those who want to continue learning beyond the workshop experience.
