Increase Your Lung Capacity With Guided Breathing Method!

Updated: Sep 5

Total lung capacity (TLC) is the volume of air in the lungs upon the maximum effort of inspiration. The average lung capacity of a health adult is about 6 liters (aprox. 1.5 gallon). Age, gender, body composition, and ethnicity affect the lung capacity among individuals.

With age, the muscles for breathing weaken, resulting in the lungs losing some of their elasticity, decreasing how much air lungs hold, and how effectively they exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide.

Potential causes of lung capacity reduction include:

  • chronic lung diseases such as COPD, emphysema, and asthma

  • obesity

  • sedentary lifestyle

  • chest wall deformities

  • high waist-to-hip ratio

  • vitamin D deficiency

  • pregnancy

Here Is The Breathing Exercise We Recommend:

The "Wim Hof" Guided Breathing Method!

This Breathing Bubble is an audiovisual guide that helps you maintain rhythm and pace during your breathing sessions. Simply watch the bubble as it expands and contracts, and follow with your breath.

You'll hear Wim breathe alongside you, and entrancing background sounds help tune out your surroundings, allowing you to focus on nothing but your breath.

!! Don't do the breathing exercises in a swimming pool, before going underwater, beneath the shower, or piloting any vehicle. Always practice sitting or lying down in a safe environment. Tinnitus symptoms may appear as a result of pushing too forcefully during the breathing exercise. If this happens, take a step back in your future practice, it’s important to increase gradually, not forcefully !!
