🥖 Perfect Ketogenic Psyllium Husk Bread

Soft, fluffy, and low carb — this gluten-free bread mimics the taste and texture of whole wheat bread using psyllium husk powder.



🛒 Ingredients You Need


🧂 Dry Ingredients


  • 🌰 1 ½ cups blanched almond flour

  • 🍬 ½ tablespoon erythritol

  • 🥥 ¼ cup coconut flour

  • 🌾 ¼ cup ground flaxseed

  • 🍞 2 teaspoons instant dry yeast

  • 🧁 ½ tablespoon baking powder

  • 🌿 ¼ cup psyllium husk powder


💧 Wet Ingredients


  • 🧈 ½ cup salted butter, melted

  • 🔥 ½ cup boiling water

  • 🥚 2 large eggs

  • 🥚 ½ cup egg whites (4 whites or carton equivalent)

  • 🍎 2 tablespoons white vinegar or apple cider vinegar



🔥 Baking Instructions


  1. ♨️ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.

  2. 🥣 Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside.

  3. 🥄 Whisk the egg whites and whole eggs, then add melted butter.

  4. Combine with the dry ingredients and stir to mix.

  5. 💦 Add boiling water and use a hand mixer until dough forms.

  6. ⏲️ Let rest for 2 minutes to activate the psyllium.

  7. 🥄 Transfer dough into the loaf pan.

  8. 🍞 Bake for 40–45 minutes. Cool before slicing.
